#50PreciousWords Writing Contest

Every year, Vivian Kirkfield hosts a writing contest called #50PreciousWords to challenge authors to write a SUPER short story. It can be no more than 50 words and it must have a beginning, middle, and end. Definitely not an easy feat, and not for the faint of heart. Here is the information you need to know, and my entry is located below.

The story must be submitted in the comment section of her blog post between March 2 – 7.
Do NOT include art notes.
Title does not count toward word count.
Only one entry allowed.

A DRAGON GUARDS MY SCHOOL
A dragon guards my school.
A grumpy, flying, fire-breathing dragon.
Don’t be late, or ROAR!
Don’t step out of line, or OUCH!
Don’t ignore the bell, or AHHH!
But if he’s having a VERY good day,
He’ll roast marshmallows for s’mores.
But don’t forget the crackers and chocolate…
Or else.
